Back to Pharmacy Technician CE RequirementsIn support of improving patient care, NetCE is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
NetCE will report your credit to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), provided that you add your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth to your account. The Texas State Board of Pharmacy accepts courses from any provider who is ACPE accredited.

Pharmacists are required 30 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study.* A minimum of one (1) hour must be on Texas pharmacy rules every two years.
All licensees are required to complete a training course approved by the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission on identifying victims of human trafficking every two years.
Pharmacists licensed on or after September 1, 2020 are required at least two (2) contact hours related to approved procedures of prescribing and monitoring controlled substances, by first anniversary of licensure.
Pharmacists engaged in drug therapy management are required six (6) hours in drug therapy management each year.
Pharmacists authorized to administer vaccinations are required three (3) hours in disease states, drugs, and administration of immunizations or vaccines every two years.
Pharmacists acting as a preceptor are required three (3) hours of board approved preceptor training every two years.**
Pharmacy Technicians are required 20 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by home study*; or maintain national certification. A minimum of one (1) hour must be on Texas pharmacy rules every two years.
